Are we there yet card?

Here's a card I made for some friends/neighbors that were moving quite a long distance from us. Very sad to see them go but you gotta go where you can get a job when you've got school age kids that will likely be going to college some day.

The paper is from American Crafts and the stamp is from Cloud 9.

The secret... card

Here's yet another guy birthday card I made using the one sheet wonder template and The Paper Loft papers. The "Happy Birthday" embellishment is from the dollar section at Michaels.

Live the life card

About 2 or three years ago I took a class that was focusing on Tim Holtz type techniques. We made a 12x12 sheet that used stencils and stamps designed by him and the Ranger Distress Inks. I cut that 12x12 up into pieces I could use for cards. Here's one of the backgrounds with a the Life the Life you've Imagined stamp repeated as the focal point.

The card is for a young man who recently finished up his enlistment with the Marines and is now transitioning to a new life. He's going to school using his GI Bill so this card is a birthday inspiration type card. Hope he likes it.

What's blooming card

Here's another card I made using the Hot off the Press kit "Paper Flair". This one had a few extra elements to it besides attaching the image to the paper. The double flowers were cut out and then attached with a pop dot for dimension. Also, I adhered the stem to cardstock for stability otherwise the flower would have been too heavy. I also added a bit of glitter on the edges of the petals.
