100 Acre Wood Gang...and me!
Last year hubby and I went to Disney World during the holiday season. We went to Mickey's Christmas party and he got a photo of me with my bestest buddy Tigger along with Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore. A blog post from October Afternoon, a paper craft company, got me thinking I could do this technique with a photo of my own. I googled Photoshop and Polaroid and found this one that worked well for me.

Happy Birthday card
Here's a card I made from the Hot off the Press Lemonade Stand artful card kit. I'm sending it for a birthday. I've mentioned this before but these are nice kits and if you are frugal you can get quite a lot of cards from these kits.

Butterfly Card
Here's a card I made using materials from... ooops can't remember who. It would be embarrassing to give credit to a company and then discover I'm wrong. Oh well, it was a kit of sorts highlighting the flowers that were cut with different sized dies. Hard to see the glitter here and there but trust me it's there.
Anyway I'm sending this for a wedding anniversary, hope they like it.

Happy Birthday Card
Yet another card made using the Faux Textured Metal technique. Like the one a couple of weeks ago this one has a detail cut metallic peel off sticker for the sentiment.

Happy Birthday card
Here's a card I made using a technique Jennifer McGuire highlighted on her blog back in August. I don't think mine came out as well as hers since I used a duller paper. I've since changed to a slightly glossy surface that shines a bit better. I added some metallic detailed peal off stickers but kept the card pretty simple.

Birthday Wishes cards
Here's another card made with the Hot off the Press Confetti Card Kit. I took a piece of string and some washi tape and made the flag banner. Otherwise all items are from the kit.

Cook with wine card
Here's a card I made using an Inky Antics stamp over kitchen themed paper by Little Yellow Bicycle. I'm sending it as a birthday card. I stamped the image, scanned in to my computer and cut it out with my Silhouette...no more fussy cutting!! I colored in just a little portion with my Prismacolor pencils.

Stripes with a heart in the middle card
I used to follow a lot of crafters online but have whittled them down to a much smaller number. One I really like is Jennifer McGuire. She needed a mojo shot in the arm recently, and so did/do I. The technique she posted isn't new but it does allow for an easy way to crank out a bunch of cards in a short amount of time. I created a few with this technique (posted in future posts) and then decided to play on my own for this one. I used washi tape for the border on this one since it is thinner and then made some stripes with the tape as well. I added a small rhinestone heart in the center and there you go a card.
Until my next post,
Diane
