Celebrate card

Here's another card I made using some materials from a Hot off the Press Confetti Cake Artful Card Kit. Like the card last week I added the sentiment from a Creative Imaginations embellishment set.

Eating Cake Card

Here's a card I made using some materials from a Hot off the Press Confetti Cake Artful Card Kit. I added the main sentiment from a Creative Imaginations embellishment set. On the inside I stamped "Birthdays are nature's way of telling us to eat more cake".  It seemed to fit.

Merry Christmas (cards)

I don't send too many home made cards for Christmas, just to the immediate family. I don't think most folks appreciate or understand the effort required to make a card so they get the store bought ones. Even though these cards were from a kit my family understands the time it takes and like getting them.

These were from Hot off the Press card kits. I've mentioned this many times but they make very nice kits. I supplied the envelopes and card base (solid paper) and adhesive. The Dazzles have an "outey" and an "innie" and frugal folks can often get twice the number if you plan accordingly.

100 Acre Wood Gang...and me!

Last year hubby and I went to Disney World during the holiday season. We went to Mickey's Christmas party and he got a photo of me with my bestest buddy Tigger along with Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore.  A blog post from October Afternoon, a paper craft company, got me thinking I could do this technique with a photo of my own. I googled Photoshop and Polaroid and found this one that worked well for me.

Happy Birthday card

Here's a card I made from the Hot off the Press Lemonade Stand artful card kit. I'm sending it for a birthday. I've mentioned this before but these are nice kits and if you are frugal you can get quite a lot of cards from these kits.

Butterfly Card

Here's a card I made using materials from... ooops can't remember who. It would be embarrassing to give credit to a company and then discover I'm wrong. Oh well, it was a kit of sorts highlighting the flowers that were cut with different sized dies. Hard to see the glitter here and there but trust me it's there.

Anyway I'm sending this for a wedding anniversary, hope they like it.

Happy Birthday Card

Yet another card made using the Faux Textured Metal technique. Like the one a couple of weeks ago this one has a detail cut metallic peel off sticker for the sentiment.

Happy Birthday card

Here's a card I made using a technique Jennifer McGuire highlighted on her blog back in August. I don't think mine came out as well as hers since I used a duller paper. I've since changed to a slightly glossy surface that shines a bit better. I added some metallic detailed peal off stickers but kept the card pretty simple.

Birthday Wishes cards

Here's another card made with the Hot off the Press Confetti Card Kit. I took a piece of string and some washi tape and made the flag banner. Otherwise all items are from the kit.
