Just fluttering by card

Here's a card I made using papers and materials from Hot off the Press. I'm pretty sure the stamp is from Stamps on Fire.

Birthdays are good for you card

Here's a card I made using a one sheet wonder with The Paper Loft papers and their template. Unfortunately, their template had an errors in it regarding measurements which is the most important thing. Luckily it wasn't with the patterned papers. If you mess up there you have to start over or improvise.

I liked these papers as they are good to use for guy cards. I used the blank spots to add some stamping with Studio G stamps.

Onsie Card

Here's a card I made inspired by the Shape-It CD by Technique Junkies. It basically follows their instructions but I didn't have a punch to make the holes for the head and legs so I used a Fiskars shape cutter and template. Also instead of decorative borders on these holes I just cut my small circle and then lined up the cutter to make another one a bit bigger creating a ring. I cut the ring to fit as a border around the legs and head . The ribbon and buttons add to the look.

Queen of the Kitchen card

Here's a Mother's Day card I made using paper and embellishments (except for the fabric trim) by Melissa Francis. I did a bit of inking on the edges of the papers for a bit of emphasis.

It's Your Birthday card

Here's a card I made using a product from Hot off the Press called Paper Flair Shaped Card Kit. It comes with 24 sheets of artwork and makes 16 shaped cards. For this one you cut out the package and apply the left edge to a card, cut out the shape and you have an instant card in the shape of a present. The embellishments are included as well as papers to decorate the inside of the card, a "made by" label an extra "stuff" for the envelope. I used a real brad on the front which wasn't included and applied the tag on the front with a dimensional glue dot. I got the kit on sale and it was worth the price of only $4.49.
