Here's a card I made recently using Provo Craft Super Slab paper. I used an Inque stamp and a tag from JoAnns as an embellishment.

Cheers to You!

I made this card a while back and finally had a reason to send it. At the Stampers Corner Yahoo Group we have a monthly ATC lottery. The previous months winner (me this time) chooses the theme for the month and then picks the winner (I use random.org). I used this card to send my ATC (Rome was the theme) to the winner for August. It is based on a sheetload template and uses papers from Provo Craft and stamps from Inque.

Cards sent recently

Here's three cards made using Sheetload templates that I recently sent with ATC swaps. The first two used paper from the Super Slab by Provo Craft. The card on the right has paper from American Traditional Designs. The stamp for the one on the left is from a Studio G $1 stamp set the one in the middle is from the Heidi Grace Quotes set and the one on the right is from Impression Obsession.

Yet another Sheetload...this time a small one
I made another mini Sheetload of cards the other day. I think I'm getting better at this. It is sort of like cooking...at the beginning you follow the recipe exactly. As you get more comfortable you start modifying and making substitutions. All the paper for these cards is from the Super Slab by Provo Craft and the stamps are by Heidi Grace from the Quotes set.Until my next post,

Easy as 1,2,3 card
This is another card I made using the one sheet wonder technique. If you google that term you'll find MANY options to choose from. Better yet why waste the time to google just click on my link and you will find many templates. This card, and the others in this batch used up some extra scrapbook paper. The base of the card is from DCWV and it is glittered. The paper is from Provo Craft. The stamp is from the Sugarloaf/Inque 264 set of stamps. The finishing touch which might be tough to see from the scan is the Sakura Stardust pen outlining I did to the stamped Happy Birthday and the flower borders.Until my next post,

Card for Sid

Here's the card I sent to Sid that had my Feb ATC's inside. You'll have to wait until tomorrow to see the ATC's. The card is from a concept called One Sheet Wonders. I used patterened paper instead of making my own background paper like some folks have. The template I got was from Mae Collins, she has a bunch of great templates to use for inspiration.
The patterened paper is from Provo Craft. The stamped image is another of my Studio G $1 stamps. I colored in the stamped image with Sakura Glaze markers.

Ralph Waldo Emerson quote card

I got a free set of art quotes from Pennywise Art and made this card. I printed the quotes on acetate and colored this one in Ranger Alcohol Inks using Stream, Stonewashed and Denim a bit of blending solution and Silver. I ran this through my Cuttlebug using a Spellbinder dye. It cut OK but I think other machines might cut acetate better. I glued the acetate to a white backing paper using Diamond Glaze. This makes the words stand out better having a light background. I added one more dark blue layer bigger than the acetate that I cut with Provo Craft scissors. The base of the card was run through the Cuttlebug with an embossing folder and then inked to complete the design.
Until next time,

Get well card

Here's a card I made for my niece a while back. She's a three sport player: basketball, volleyball and soccer her favorite. She broke her collarbone last fall and couldn't have any contact so she had to do drills by herself. This card is from the November 2007 Sheetload template. I used patterned paper from a Provo Craft super slab. The swirls are embossed on light blue paper and then have Ranger distress inks applied to bring out the color. The get will stamp is a Studio G $1 stamp.

Thinking of....Mom

This card was modified from the November 2007 SheetLoad pattern. I had bought a "super slab" package of paper from Provo Craft and put some patterned papers together following the SheetLoad diagram. I did some inking on the edges of the solid card stock and layered it all on a blank card that I got from the bargain bin at Michael's. I added a bit of ric rac as an embellishment. The stamp is one of my MANY Studio G $1 stamps. I have to say that I buy a lot of these but I use a lot of these too. They are nice and small to use for cards like these. I think Mom will like the card...hope you do too.
Until my next post,
Diane
