Here's a card I made using Echo Park paper. I used an EK Success border punch on the blue border under the orange paper. The stamp is designed by Tim Holtz by Stampers Anonymous.

Live in the moment card

I made this as an anniversary card for some good friends. The background is the Glimmer Lace technique  from the Aug/Sep issue of the Technique Junkies newsletter. I substituted Ranger Distress Ink refills and Perfect Pearls. The stamps are Tim Holtz designed by Stampers Anonymous. I layered the sentiment by cutting a shape with a Spellbinders die.

Grungy Pinwheel card

Here's another Pinwheel card I made using the Technique Junkies Aug/Sep 2010 issuse. I had some old scrapbook paper that I distressed and then stamped on using a Stampers Anonymous stamp for the background and the ticket. The pinwheel is made using paper embossed with a Tim Holtz Sizzix embossing folder. The clock is by SkyBluePink.

Faux Domino Card Celestial Style

Here's a card I made using the Faux Domino technique from the Jun/Jul 2010 issue of the Technique Junkie newsletter. If you aren't a Junkie you should look into it. I used a stamp by Stampers Anonymous and some scrapbook paper by Autumn Leaves that coordinated.

Open Theme ATC

For this Altered Designs Open Theme TGIF I used one of my recycled cereal boxes with the Portfolio Oil Pastels. After the background was complete I stamped a Stampers Anonymous image and then added a few old buttons and old mini ric-rac.

Non Paper ATC

This challenge with the Stampers Corner Yahoo Group was to make a NonPaper ATC. I used grungeboard and stamped on it with acrylic paint using a Stampers Anonymous stamp. The important thing to remember if you do stamp with acrylic paint, gesso or gel medium is to wash your stamp off ASAP otherwise you might ruin it since the "stuff" will dry and stick to it forever. After the paint was dry I used Ranger Distress Inks then wiped off the part that was on the paint since it acts as a resist. The big embellishment is from K&Co Life's Journey series. The next step was to use a clear tag by Heidi Swapp. I colored the back of it with a silver Galaxy Marker. They don't bleed up on acrylic surfaces like other markers. I stamped on the front using StazOn with a stamp by Inque and secured it to the ATC using some silver mini ric-rac and then outlined the ATC with a Krylon marker.

Hands ATC

"Hands" was the theme for the Altered Designs Yahoo Group TGIF a while back. I had won this stamp by Stampers Anonymous at a stamp show and never used it so it was about time it got inked. I used watercolor paper colored with Fiber Scraps ez Walnut Ink in Rust color. I also used rust colored Adirondack dye ink color. I used glossy accents on the hand for a bit of a dimensional effect and then an Inksentials white pen for a bit of contrast. The final touch was a Krylon pen on the edge.

Red, Yellow and Orange ATC

Last month on the Stampers Corner Yahoo Group the ATCOTM theme was red, yellow and orange. I carefully applied Ranger Distress Inks directly to the Stampers Anonymous stamp. After the ink dried I went over it with blending foam in a contrasting color. I used Ranger Alcohol Inks in themed colors on the silver word "dream" to make it fit in and I'm done.

Open Theme ATC

Originally I had hoped to have four ATC's ready with a theme of All Things Rusty for another Yahoo group but I only got one done in time so I abandoned that thought. Instead, I used this ATC for the Altered Designs Yahoo group. This year the last week of the month is open them so it fit.

I used one of the new Sizzix Tim Holtz embossing folders and a stamp created by him from Stampers Anonymous. I used a combination of rust colored inks to complete the project.

Weddings and Lovers ATC

This is the ATC I made for the Altered Designs Yahoo Group with the theme of Weddings and Lovers. I'm not sure where I got this collage image but it sure was handy. I used Ranger Distress Ink to ink the background then stamped with a Stampers Anonymous stamp. After that I added an embellishment heart by Making Memories and typed/printed out a quote by Robert Browning.

Rainy Days ATCOTM

Here's what I made for the Stampers Corner Yahoo Group ATC of the month swap. I've made a few other Rainy Day type ATC's and wanted this one to be different. The first thing that came to me was the Carpenters song "Rainy Days and Mondays" so I started with an image from Stampers Anonymous of the pouty child that almost looks like it's about to cry. I used a backgound image also from Stampers Anonymous. Both images are stamped with Ranger Distress Ink and Ranger Archival Ink.

Open Theme ATC

This weeks theme for the Altered Designs Yahoo group ATC was.....Open which meant I could use any stamps, technique or collage. I chose a stamp by Stampers Anonymous that I brayered with a Ranger Adirondak hand made rainbow ink pad on glossy paper. I added a bit of the new Tim Holtz film ribbon and the word family to complete the piece.

I dreamed... card

A while back I showed you how I made this background paper, this one uses Rangers new Distress Ink Rusty Hinge. I decided to use it with some Anne Taintor playing cards that I bought about 2 years ago. When I bought them I knew I'd be using them in crafts and I just needed to find the right project. Well here it is with my new background paper and a design element that I cut from my Silhouette. There are loads of cool free designs on the web so I haven't bought any yet and hope to continue to be frugal. The stamp I used is by Stampers Anonymous.

Numbers ATC

I made this ATC for the Stampers Corner Yahoo Group ATC of the month club. I used a Stampers Anonymous Stamps that I embossed with clear powder on glossy paper. Next I swiped three colors of alcohol inks in diagonally. I added a bit of gold ink too. The final touch was the addition of the "believe" word.

Rainy Day ATC

This ATC for the Altered Designs Yahoo group had the theme of Rainy Day. I used a Tim Holtz designed Stampers Anonymous stamp that I stamped on acetate with StazOn. The base of the card is glossy cardstock that I sprayed with various watercolors. I stamped and embossed with clear ink a stamp by Studio G that says April Showers and has an umbrelly (it's hard to see in the scan). I also had a rain cloud stamp by Studio G that I used on the top. The final touch was the addition of a few rain dot embellishments that we sent to me a while back as a RAK (random act of kindness) by a fellow stamper.

Dragonflies ATCs

Here's the latest set of three ATCs I made for Sid. He picked the theme of Dragonflies. For the one on the left I stamped with Brilliance Ink then stamped using Stamping Ground stamps. I sprayed Glimmer Mist and the Brilliance resisted the coloring. I added a type stamp by Altered Arts and a few brads as an accent. The one in the middle also uses a Stamping Ground stamp that I colored with Prismacolor colored pencils then cut out and layered over paper by Leisure Arts. All dragonflies have stickles on their wings. The one on the right is my attempt to recreate this technique that was featured on the Design Junkies blog. I used swirl and flower stamps by Inque. The dragonfly is by Stamping Ground and the Diamonds by Stampers Anonymous.

Hotel Victoria card

I sent this card recently with an ATC that I made for the Altered Designs Yahoo group. The card uses paper from K&Co Lifes Journey collection. I added a Tim Holtz designed Stampers Anonymous stamp. I added a bit of Crackle Accents on top of the Hotel Intercontental logo on the stamped image. I added two mini safety pins and some faux postage stamps as embellishments.

Memories card

I sent this card with an ATC swap recently. The paper and "friends" embellishment are from the Life's Journey collection by K&Co. I used stamps from TJ Designs (ruler, alphabet, children collage) and Stampers Anonymous (memories). A bit of corner punching and dry wall patching complete the card.

Travel theme card part 2

This is a card I sent with an ATC swap recently. Like another a while back it uses K&Co Life's Journey paper. The stamped image and the "Enjoy the Journey" are Tim Holtz designed stamps by Stamers Anonymous. The collage stamp was inked with a Ranger Adirondak hand made ink pad (can't remember which one) and the Enjoy the Journey was embossed with Ranger Distress Embossing Powder. I used a Sakura clear glitter pen to highlight the words in the Victoria Hotel Amsterdam portion of the paper but it is hard to see on the scan.

Distress Inks Class

Almost a month ago I took a class at Beach Scrapbooks from Tina on Ranger Distress Inks. We practiced using them with the blending tool on a tag. Then we used some mini-masks on a pre-stamped tag. Next we made this 12x12 layout that I'll end up cutting for cards. Most of the stamps I used on this page are from Stampers Anonymous. The final project was a card. It was a fun time and my only "complaint" was that it wasn't a bit closer to the house. I'm signed up for another class using alcohol inks. Even though I've played with Distress Inks and Alcohol Inks before it is always fun to take a class with others. You never know if you'll make a friend or pick up some great tips.
