Bella Rose Lattice card

Here's the card I sent for Mother's Day (yes I know it was last month). It is from Heartfelt Creations and has a coordinating die that I didn't purchase. I looked prior to this post and discovered the stamp isn't available anymore on their website. I decided to stamp it twice and use some pop dots to accent the flowers and leaves. I stamped the based with Ranger Pigment and colored it with oil color pencils by Walnut Hollow.  Since I used a pigment ink I needed a dry color otherwise the background would bleed. I stamped the image again and embossed it with fine black powder and used the same coloring technique then cut the flowers and leaves out. This image is versatile and could be used for many occasions.

You Rock card

Here's a card I made for a guy and I didn't use the Modern Grid technique! This started a background made with alcohol inks in a Crayola Color Explosion Spinner. After that it sat...for years until I decided to use it on this card. I thought I had a stamp of a guitar but I didn't so I used this g cleff stamp. I then added this glitter border and a coordinating border color. I think the sort of grunge look would appeal to a guy and hope he likes it.

Take Flight card

Here's a card I made using materials from SEI. It was part of a card kit and I'm going to send it as a birthday card. I'll have to use extra postage as it is too thick for a regular stamp. I made my own envelope from extra scrapbook paper that has a dragonfly theme as well. I made the envelope with the WeR Memory Keepers envelope maker.

Here's another card I made using the Faux Embroidered Quilt technique. I used the K&Co papers but this time I used a stamp from Artistic Outpost as the focal point.

Queen for a day card

By now you know this is the Modern Grid technique card and that I'm obsessed with it! I keep finding new stamps (well they aren't "new" really) to use with this card for various occasions. This is for a birthday gal. I used Lost Coast and Crafty Secrets stamps for this one.

Happy Birthday card

Here is yet another card using the Modern Grid technique. For this one I used hat stamps from Hero Arts and a sentiment stamp from Fiskars. This time I used watercolor pencils vs regular ones to color in the squares.

Get your kicks card

Here's another card I made using the Modern Grid Tutorial from Technique Junkies. I love this technique and hope you all don't get sick of it. Sometimes I look at my stamps and can't figure out what to do with them. This technique pulls them all together and allows for some fun with colored pencils, paints or whatever you want to use to fill in some squares and color your images. It also give you the opportunity to do a little doodling too. This card is for a guy birthday, hope he likes it.
