Elvis Birthday Cards

Here's a set of four cards I made using Elvis stamps by Stampsmith and paper from EK Success. I cut them with my Silhouette so no fussy cutting was required. It doesn't look as such in the photo but each Elvis is sort of elevated with a homemade accordion "thingy". I was hoping it would make it look as though Elvis was swinging his hips.

Each one has different embellishments. the upper left has some stickers, the upper right has some stars that were cut out with a circle punch and elevated with pop dots. The bottom left has the same circles but I also added a bit of instruments on a music scale (at least I think that's what they call it). The lower right has some musical notes I cut out with a punch.

All cards are for guys who are also kings (get the pun!), hope they like them.

Four sentiment card

I made this card at a make and take at a scrap/card show a few years ago but never sent it. I decided to add some sentiments from Hero Arts and turn it into a birthday card. It uses Just For Fun stamps. I like the outline stamp. It is sort of a faux postage look.

Hold You Dear Card

Quite a few years ago I took a class at a stamp/scrap show and made a card using an Art Gone Wild stamp. I thought I had a template for the card but I couldn't find it. I recreated one using my Silhouette but changed the size to fit an A2 envelope. In doing so I needed to rearrange the items. I've since adjusted my design to make the circles closer together so the candy pieces can fit on the top and bottom of the circles. This card is for a little girl, hope she likes it.

Hello Friend card

Here's a card I made in a class at a scrapbook/paper show a few years back. If I remember correctly, it uses products from Technique Tuesday. If a reader knows otherwise let me know. I'm sending to a...yes friend, thus the sentiment.

Whatever card

Here's a card I made for birthday of a young man. A long time I made a 12x12 using some Ranger techniques and then did nothing with it. After a while I cut it up and made some cards with it. This is one of them. I used a Hero Arts clock stamp on top of the other stuff and cut the piece into four irregular rectangles. To finish the card I found this rub on that seemed to go with a birthday.
