No title card

Here's a card I made using the techniques in this Jennifer McGuire post called Black Embossed Resist. Here's my substitutes: I used Basil card stock, the smoother side. I didn't have a Tombow marker so I used my pigment ink pad. I used Martha Stewart stamps and omitted the sentiment. Her card photographed quite a bit better but she's a professional and I'm certainly not. Anyway I like the technique and may make another but I think I'd like to use a marker next time.

Cure for the common birthday card

Here's a card I made using a background stamp by Hero Arts and a sentiment by Fiskars. I used white embossing powder on the background stamp and a cut/embossing dye for the sentiment.

Happy Anniversary Card

Here's a card I made using the techniques in this Club Scrap post. Instead of masking tape I used washi tape. The paper in the background is some left over from K&Co. I used Ranger Dye inks, stamped two of the corners and then added a bit of bling to the other two. I goofed and used a corner punch on two corners but it isn't the same punch so I added the bling to try and camouflage it a bit.

Accessorize of exercise card

Here's a card I made using some more scrap paper from a Hot off the Press card kit. I added the Inky Antics gal and her sentiments then colored her in with some colored pencils. I used my Silhouette to cut the stamped images so no fussy cutting required!

Hilarious Card

Here's a card I made using some left over materials from a Hot off the Press card kit. I stamped on the patterned paper, added the Hilarious sticker and also the Happy Birthday stamp. Actually I'm the one that keeps staying at 29 but I thought the combo of the two made for a sort of funny but not necessarily hilarious card.

Happy Anniversary card

Here's a card I made using the Club Scrap Curvy Woven Card technique. I needed to make a card in a hurry so this technique worked great for me. I didn't really mix up the papers anywhere as much as they did. I used some left over paper from an old Basic Grey collection called Indian Summer. One of the papers had stripes of all the other patterns so I used strips of that instead.

Celebrate Card

Here's yet another card I made using some materials from a Hot off the Press Confetti Cake Artful Card Kit. I had a stamp with the word Celebrate and lucky for me it fit right in the middle of this embellishment.

Hugs and Kisses Card

Yes I know Valentines Day was this past Sunday but I post on Wednesdays. At least that's my story and I'll stick to it.

This is the card I gave to hubby. I made it using the Faux Fresco technique from Splitcoaststampers. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and Galaxy markers for the coloring. The tutorial says to use white craft paint but next time I think I'll use Gesso as I have much more of that and think the look would be the same. I cut out the sentiment using my Silhouette and used a gem over the letter "i" since I lost the dot.

Celebrate card

Here's another card I made using some materials from a Hot off the Press Confetti Cake Artful Card Kit. Like the card last week I added the sentiment from a Creative Imaginations embellishment set.

Eating Cake Card

Here's a card I made using some materials from a Hot off the Press Confetti Cake Artful Card Kit. I added the main sentiment from a Creative Imaginations embellishment set. On the inside I stamped "Birthdays are nature's way of telling us to eat more cake".  It seemed to fit.
