Leo

Back in October we had to say goodby to our kitty BC. He developed a feline cognitive disorder similar to Alzheimers. It was very sad to let him go but he had no quality of life. We missed having a furry companion so we adopted another rescue cat.

We found Leo at a Petsmart. He was a feral kitty that was fostered by the great folks at the Isle of Wight Humane Society and eventually adopted but then surrendered back. The family that had him had some issues of their own that in my opinion interfered with them giving him the love and attention that he needs. Their loss is our gain. He's a great kitty. He's not a lap cat (yet) but he doesn't mind being held. He plays on his own and loves to look out the windows at the birds and squirrels.

Leo got a few treats in his stocking on Christmas day and likes to rest under the tree. We do find ornaments on the floor here and there so I'm glad I decided to use soft ornaments this year.

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas.

Until my next post,
Diane
