Not exactly what I was hoping for...but an improvement nonetheless


I'll save all of you in cyberland a picture of the actual foot with the stitches now removed since you may be like me and NOT like watching Discovery Health. Not only do I not like viewing these type of things on other people it really creeps me out looking at myself. I caught my pinkie finger in a door when I was about 4 or 5. That and having my wisdom teeth out were my only experiences with anything like this. Getting the stitches removed was quite uncomfortable.

I now have this "boot" for a month and have another follow-up before the 4th of July. I can put weight on my heel but actual "walking" should be kept to a minimum. I still need the crutches/walker so I'm not ready to go to the mall and do some shopping. At least I can do more things than before so that is good. Although eventually a necessity this was elective surgery at this point so no whining is allowed. Like a good little retired "soldier" I'll salute smartly and follow the docs orders.
